What do you think is better, Console or PC? I seem to always hear people arguing about this. My question is whether it is better to use a disc or to download your games. The first thing you have to think about is taxes. If you are in certain areas you do not have to pay taxes on games that you buy digitally. Something else you have to think about is if you ever get tired of the game. If you want to get rid of a game and you have it on a disc, you can sell your game. However if you have a digital version of the game you want to get rid of you have to just delete it. Something that having a digital copy offer that discs don't is the ability to easily select the game you want to play without getting out of your seat. If you have a disc you have to get up and put it in. Also while downloads take up more digital space, discs take up physical space. When it comes to breaking your game discs and downloads you seem to have the same amount of risk for each. If you have a disc you can scratch it or lose it, but if you downloaded the game your game can get hacked or you can get banned. Before I reach my conclusion I want to summarize what the factors are

If you have looked around on my website before you might be able to guess that I am a big fan of destiny. With the the release of destiny two I was super excited to play and would like to give back to the community by doing a game review for destiny two. First off if you are not a fan of first person shooters you need to leave right now. If you are a fan of first person shooters then you should consider getting destiny two if you haven’t already. When you first open the game you get to make your own custom avatar. You can choose to be an exo, an awoken or a human. Once you choose that you get to add things like skin color, horns, and tattoos. Once you have finished that up you get to choose if you want to be a hunter, warlock or titan. Each of these classes have different perks and abilities. If you have already played destiny one your avatar that you made on that game will be on destiny two. This is something that I really like about destiny, you get to make your own avatar and you become connected with it I think destiny one and two do a really good job at letting you customize your character. Another thing that destiny two does well is having a wide variety of weapons and armor. Whenever I play the game I feel like the variety of weapons and armor is endless. Something that destiny two does not have is a great story line. If you only play games for the story then you should probably not get destiny two. Destiny two’s story line is not bad but it just really isn’t that exciting after the first twenty to thirty minutes of playing it. It lacks any plot twists and feels really cliche. Besides the not so exciting storyline I think that destiny two is a really fun game to play and you should get it. I mean who knows, maybe they are saving the plot twist for the expansion pack. I would give this game an eight out of ten.
When you Open up a new game on your Console or PC, and you have to make a avatar for that game you may take half an hour like me, or you just hit some random options so you can get right into playing the game. Today I was wondering if your avatar appearance effects your gameplay so I looked into it. The first thing you have to figure out is why people make their avatar the way they are. According to my research people tend to make their avatars a more improved version of themselves. For example, if someone is overweight in real life they would probably make their avatar skinny. When it comes to your avatars effect on your gameplay the studies I found get interesting. After you first assume what your improved version of yourself would look like, after you do this you make assumptions about what your avatar would act based on its looks that you created. I find it very fascinating that you subconsciously create your avatar to look like an improved version of your self and then subconsciously make your avatar do what you think someone that looks like that would do. Studies show that being able to pick your avatar actually makes you perform better. A brief review on what I have learned
http://www.psychologyofgames.com/2013/11/the-psychology-of-video-game-avatars/ https://jamuthatswho.wordpress.com/2015/06/15/psychology-of-character-creation-in-video-games/ I chose the topic advancements in digital arts because I find it interesting to see all the accomplishments that we have made in the digital arts over time. in researching this topic I discovered that the man who created was Ben Lapsoky, who is the first person to create computer graphics by using an oscilloscope which is a laboratory instrument that is used to analyze electronic signals. Something else I discovered when looking into this topic, is that the first time people started to see digital arts in their everyday lives was in the eighties. This was because the first movies and TV shows were starting to use computer graphics. Another reason that people started to see digital arts so much in this time period was because this was when the first personal computers were coming out. Another thing I discovered was that one of the few schools in the seventies to make computer a main part of its curriculum was Slade. If it wasn't for schools like this then the companies like Microsoft and apple would not exist today. the last thing that I discovered when researching this topic was that Photoshop was first invented in 1988 which blows my mind because it has come so far. back in 1988 people would probably say that doesn't look real, but now if people see something that is real and they don't think it could actually look like it in real life then they just say: that is so Photoshop. To summarize what I have discovered
